CUBE road bikes - your views?

I have the 2011 model; and a few people have mentioned that they think (as I do) the spec of the 2012 model is not as good as the 2012. I absolutely love my Cube GTC Pro, if I were looking for a bike now; and knowing how good they are! I'd certainly Buy Another One.

What size bike do you have? I'm 6' 5" I tried a 60cm bike in a shop and felt small, guess might need the 64cm....
    Any advice?

You need one size up on your normal sizing! I normally ride a 54cm bike; But, I needed a 56cm in the cube! Your going to need at least a 62cm, in the Cube. Your 7,inches taller than me. I absolutely love my Cube; and everyone who owns one says the same.

    Hi Slaf,

The 2012 model is Shimano 105, the 2012 was Ultegra. The 2012 has Easton Aero wheels, the 2011 had Mavic Aksiums. Also the frame is slightly different (I think the 2012 model has a longer head tube). I rode the 2011 and it was very good indeed.

    Thanks,
It will be my first road bike, and I expect to participate some triathlon races.
In fact I have the choice between the GTC pro 2011 at 1400 and the 2012 at 1700 in 56 cm size.
At this frame size very few change on the geometry : like 991 mm vs 987 mm of full length ....

The crankset of the 2011 version seem to be is a cheaper shimano model (not an ultegra at all) versus the 2012 is a 105 crankset.
Other transission parts are likely the same (mix of ultegra and 105 compoments)

Other differences seem to be the fork on the 2011 version which is a Easston EC70 versus a

So, for me, prohibitives arguments are the frame and the wheelset which are in my point of view the main part of a bike (maybe cranckset also).
    Any remarks are welcome... Bye
